Would this fly in CA as legal...?

Im guessing it would be but what do you think the participation would be?

Dealership: Buy Truck, Get Free AK-47!

The page you're trying to access could not be found or is no longer available.

Nations Trucks, located at 3700 S. Orlando Drive in Sanford, kicked off the promotion on Veterans Day.

General sales manager Nick Ginetta said the promotion will run until the end of the month. He said anyone who purchases a truck will receive a $400 voucher to a local gun store. He said customers will have to go through the application process and qualify under state and federal laws. Ginetta said any buyers who don't want a gun will be given cash.

I think this guy did the same thing a couple years ago. I remember hearing about it, laughing about it, and wishing I hadn't just bought my truck.

This brings back memories of the old "Cal Worthington" commercials that used to run. One time his "dog Spot" was a tank. I suspect that 'Ol Cal might have gone for a promo like this if he was still running the biz.

Yea... I would be happy enough to know where the $400 AK (I'd be surprised if it was a real AK) would be in CA.

This would never fly in CA due to uneducated irrational public backlash.

            But it would be legal.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Yeah, all they'd have to do is the proper transfer paperwork.

They already had a story on it on a LA station. They claimed the Veterans are all upset about it. The "Veteran" did the whole " AK-47s are dangerous and would like it better if they gave me a flag."
If you want to piss off a liberal and help a conservative, ship a gun to California.
