Good News for Cooley,

Again, I've done plenty of research. I still can't figure out why so many people are pro-Cooley. All I hear is the same old same old, "pick cooley, he is better" without actually addressing what is better about him. Thread after thread. Then when it comes out how anti-gun Cooley really is...the thread sorta dies.

Oh yeah, and the "do your research" thing. With nobody ever actually fessing up to why they think Cooley is better.

It really doesn't matter as the election is over. It is now just down to counting the votes. There is no reason to either explain why one is better than the other or to try and convince anyone of anything.

Many people want Cooley to win and this is a thread where they are discussing that desire. It is not the time or place to debate which is better than the other.

Because Harris is probably the most looney and most dangerous of all the Dem candidates out there, (and I'm including JB in there).

She is a true bleeding heart liberal, who has never seen a criminal she can't find excuses for, never seen a cop who she didn't despise and never seen a gun owner who should not be incarcerated in Alcatraz.

She got absolutely no endorsements from law and order professionals. That should tell you all you need to know in itself. If the D.A. won't back up the cops and prosecute fully, they tend (naturally) to lose interest in bringing the criminals in.

I think that sums things up pretty well. Cooley may not be perfect for us, but Harris is a proven disaster and a nightmare for gun owners.

Lets keep our fingers crossed in the next coming days, but so far so good, Harris was not been able to get the endorsement of the rank and file police community and there are lots of cops in California that did not vote for Harris who has a penitent for letting loose criminals that cops arrested and going after law-abiding citizens gun rights. Harris is downright scary, this is one race I had my eye on since election day.

Short answer to your question is that I trust Michel's analysis regarding Cooley vs Harris, and I think he probably has the most experience with Cooley of anyone on this board.

The issue is that you KNOW that you have the worst possible AG in Harris. Absolutely anti-2A, refused to prosecute violent illegal immigrant offenders under the "sanctuary city" status of SF, refuses to go for the death penalty for cop killers, etc.

ANYONE else is better. Cooley would have to prove that he's as absolutely inept.
