if your sec of state is a dem & its true that he was part of the Soro's funded sec state project- call me tin foil all you want, its fixed, expect K Harris to "win" same thing happened to the guy running against Al Franken, I saw a ballot their sec of state rejected - clearly marked for the R but because the voter voted both D & R the sec of state decided it would be a str8 D ballot. Its fair when D's do it because they think GW did it in FL against Al Ogre

It's really looking up for Cooley, I was pretty upset thinking that Harris won!

"who is sec of state and are they trustworthy? I heard somewhere that most are hand picked by Soro's"

WHAT? This is a discussion about the Attorney General race in the state of California. The Secretary of State is a federal post, he/she is a member of the US President's cabinet and over sees foreign affairs. The position is currently held by that wonderful supporter of freedom Hillary Clinton!! Hand picked by Soros? Does he fly around in a black helicopter? HO-CHEE-MAMA!!

To hell with the pessimists! I'll take hope over despair any day and for us, hope = Cooley.

Steve Cooley can and will win! (he just has to)

Do some research into both candidates, you can start here on Calguns. Then you'll have your answer.

I've done plenty of research. Still can't figure out why you all seem so thrilled about Cooley. Care to enlighten me?

Take your pick, Harris or Cooley. Cooley being the lesser of two evils.

If you have done your research you will see that Harris is MUCH worse than Cooley.

It's not so much what we gain with Cooley; it's what we avoid with Harris. Sometimes, the mere lack of bad news is adequate reason for celebration.

Again, I've done plenty of research. I still can't figure out why so many people are pro-Cooley. All I hear is the same old same old, "pick cooley, he is better" without actually addressing what is better about him. Thread after thread. Then when it comes out how anti-gun Cooley really is...the thread sorta dies.

Oh yeah, and the "do your research" thing. With nobody ever actually fessing up to why they think Cooley is better.

Simple arithmetic, its either him or Harris and you don't want Harris. Granted Cooley wasn't my first choice when the primary elections began, but right now it is what it is, Cooley or Harris. Given Harris' record on gun rights and prosecution of criminals, we can do lots better and the better is Cooley.
Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

OK, let's try this: remember how excited we all were when the Heller decision was rendered? Yet...nothing really changed here in CA, at least not right away. The biggest part of the win was avoiding the alternative.

Same applies in the 2010 CA AG race. I apologize for not quoting you chapter and verse on her transgressions, but truly, a casual search on your part should dig up plenty of information.
