Yes, if the police tell you to move, you should move....and if they tell you to dance, you better dance....and heavens no, do not under any circumstances show any self confidence, which would be misconstrued as insolence. Also avoid hanging around in public places, those places are only for 'public employees, not regular citizens.

"insolence" meets probable cause criteria?

Most of the bus stops that I've been to had several different bus lines that stopped there. Growing up, most bus stops had at least two or three different buses that would stop there - so it was important to make sure you got on the right bus - getting on the wrong bus could take me to Oakland or San Francisco, instead of El Cerrito.
Even the same bus line can have variations on where it ends up - For example, where I used to live, the buses were all the same line number, but only every third bus would go out as far as my house )They were something like the 101, 101a, and 101b, and they went over 2/3 of the same route but then went in different directions at the end).
Option 1) Take the bus halfway to my house and wait there, then take another bus the rest of the way.
Option 2) Take the bus halfway to my house, then walk a mile or two to get home.
Option 3) Wait at the first bus stop until the proper bus arrived.
When I rode the bus daily, I would sometimes pass up a certain specific bus because I knew that it would break down on the hill near my house, other times I would avoid drivers that I didn't like, or wait for a later bus so I could ride with a friend.
When he went back to take photos of the many other people who are allowed to loiter at the bus stop, and he was again arrested, and his photos were destroyed, that really seems like he was targeted for harassment - and the police appear to have been interfering with his ability to have a fair trial and covering up their own malfeasance by willfully and deliberately destroying evidence.Comment
