Help needed...Danville voting machine "broken" and not replaced

So, I know that Harmer McNerney is close, we need help.

I was listening to 560 (Brian Sussman) and a caller reported that he had voted in Danville (didn't mention the precinct) and was told the machine is down and to place his ballot in the pile and they would be sent in later. Seeing that the Harmer/McNerney race is so close, this is a concern, but I am just a salesman who voted for Harmer in Danville.

Maybe someone can enlighten me how I can voice my concern to the proper people? Help? Please? Anybody else hear this?

My precincts machine was inadvertently unplugged and stopped working. I called and reported it and got a call back explaining the machine just checks to confirm the card was filled out correctly. All the voting cards are placed in the ballot box and transferred elsewhere to be officially counted. It is correct procedure if the machine stops working to just place the ballots directly into the box.
