...whne he thought he was through with Politics...and now he's back. How can anyone back this douche? granted, I'm NO fan of Meg, but to bring back a "Serial Politician" is the worst thing we can do.

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.Comment

sorry...I'm a relative noob here, but I was waiting for the "honesty" retort...as if that is a good reason to vote for him because he admits he's a liar? So if we admit we're liars then we get kudos and sanctions for more?Comment

LOL, I've posted my share of dupes! I'm not sanctioning Brown, but lying IS the standard in politics, not the exception, it's the nature of the beast I guess. Meg, unfortunately, has virtually no record to fall back regarding veracity since she is an unknown factor and has little on record..IMO."I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them."

Comical.
Brown admits to openly lying - And people think its somehow acceptable because all politicians lie...?
No wonder CA and our country is quickly becoming a socialized third world power.
If someone openly admits they lied about lowering taxes and increasing jobs -
YOU DONT TRUST THEM AGAIN.
It really is that simple....

I would suggest that alll Jerry vs Meg campaign threads, if not discussing gun rights, be moved to OT.
This is the 2nd Amend/RKBA forum, so discussions of gun issues is the only relevant thing.

Two Parties, both lacking in dignity,
In fair California, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd candidates make their life;
Whole misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their election continue their parties' strife.
The fearful passage of deceptive campaigns,
And the continuance of their parties' rage,
Which, but their candidates election, could nought refrain,
Is now the many word traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

Apparently the lack of a comma is quite easily missed. I agree, politics should be in OT unless 2A related.sigpic
