Probably not a lot of FUD either, the owner seems very up to date on Bullet buttons and other legal issues.
Sweet, looks like I have a new shop to visit when I am in town to see my folks and brother!
Life is like having a map with precise directions and exact stops, you find out that your directions and stops change as you progress further down your original map.

For those that weren't aware - Calgunners were present and counted at that City Council meeting (the author fails to mention that it was a month ago).

Thanks, I totally missed that - this would have been appropriate as an addition to that thread. I look forward to stopping by the new shop when I'm next down on that area.
Making guns illegal is as stupid as making drugs or prostitution illegal.

.After the meeting I actually talked with our opponents. All of our opponents were immigrants. In their home countries they don't have a gun culture, so what we have are people that have no understanding of our gun culture.

Of course their arguments are always about the children, because all they have to make an argument on are their fears.

For what it is worth, we aren't the only group whom the NIMBY's were out in full force. A pair of anti marijuana doctors were there to champion against dispensaries. They were upset that San Jose already has 80 dispensaries and don't want them spreading to Sunnyvalle.

It was interesting that they said how dangerous marijuana was and how people could over dose and die. (reported overdose deaths so far 0).

Also they talked about how Marinol was readily available. They neglected to mention that patient cost for a average months supply is roughly 700 dollars. Not exactly affordable.

The council also was also having people complaining about their neighbors having too many cars on their own property and heaven forbid if they actually work on them.

Guess some Sunnyvalle residents suffer from Nanny Authoritarian Statism. Good thing we were there, but the battle is far from over.

This meeting shows why we need to have local people who can attend these meetings and let our concerns be heard.

There was no one there speaking for multiple car owners or for

Amazing - looking at a google map, the strip club appears much more prominent and just as close to the schools. In fact, you can find just about anything on that stretch of El Camino. And besides, a BG couldn't be bothered with purchasing a gun somewhere else and then driving to the school.

BTW - here is the store's web site. Looks to be a very black rifle friendly place - http://www.usfirearmsco.com/index.shtml

Of course not! You should teach them about Alcohol safety and Prostitution.

That's good. Hopefully they are informing all of their customers about the GFSZ laws, and that all firearms need to be in locked containers while on the way to and from their store (trigger locks not sufficient). I wouldn't put it past one of the hysterical local antis like Pooja Sampat to try and pull off a hidden camera sting operation of some sorts.
