    Firearms on the metro

What legal grounds do they have to ban CCW's and or people lawfully transporting firearms.

Im selling a EBR to someone, and i dont really feel like driving to work to do it, 15.00 in gas and 2 hours in traffic.

it semi pisses me off to have to drive when i would like to break it down and toss it in a bag and go.

Uh, he said EBR so the rifle case might be a give away.

And from the MTA Rules, which you agree to when you purchase a ticket, whether you realize it our not:

      6-05-220 Weapons:
      A. A weapon or instrument intended for use as a weapon shall not be discharged or
directed at a Metro facility or vehicle, or at a person or object in a Metro facility or
      vehicle.

      B. Entering a Metro facility or vehicle with a weapon or instrument intended for use as
a weapon is prohibited. This provision does not apply to law enforcement or
      security personnel.

Always read the fine print. There is no "right" to use public transportation. Same as flying on a plane.

METRO Code of Conduct for Passengers

It's a state created organization. Underground Regulation?

That was my take on it, how does a made up rule from a public agency take precedence over state law.

Well, clearly the entire Metro system is a sensitive place.
