Any news on Maloney? I haven't heard anything since SCOTUS GVR'ed it.

Maloney's website has not been updated (http://homepages.nyu.edu/~jmm257/mvc.html), but your question piqued my curiosity.

The case is back in the Eastern District of New York. Maloney is attempting to amend his complaint, apparently to add claims unrelated to the 2nd Amend. The latest pleadings are now in the RECAP archive, so you can look at them for free.

Made it all the way to SCOTUS and was essentially told "you win" and now he wants to amend? I'll go take a peek, thanks for REAPping it.

That isn't what he is doing, he wants to incorporate the McDonald & Heller decisions into the amended pleadings...

He didn't win at the Supreme Court, he got a second chance at the court of appeals...

It seems like a reasonable request to me...
