question mag ban

I have all the guns i want most are pre-ban my glocks sigs etc all have pre-ban hi cap mags, hell in 56 years old.. Now my sons friends prefer my old mags additional rds so off they went to Nevada.

Heres my question

My sons best friend just bought his first glock and he went to Nevada and picked up several 15-18 rd mags, what would happen to him if he got busted for this, Ive warned him hes fresh back from Iraq with an "What can they do to me comments"

Just worried he's a great kid

I'll print your comments and hand them to him

It's a felony to import high cap mags...so you can imagine the "worst that can happen." At the very least you can tell him he'll lose all his guns...forever. Not to mention the nice stay at any one of California's fine prisons.

As already mentioned, it is a felony -per magazine- to import a large capacity magazine into california, and while hearsay, your comments online would do nothing but hurt him if he was busted.
