Nope, it is fine for the county. I get ammo all the time from Midway, J&G, AIM, etc. I live in Claremont, which is on the far Eastern edge of LA County, right on the border with San Bernardino County.

You need a permit to sell peanuts in LA City too. I can still mail order them. I don't remember the antigun city council and mayor ever addressing mail order ammunition. I'm just saying.

We've been over this before with SF laws on C&R stuff. Liability goes onto the seller. It's not illegal for you to order/buy, it's illegal for them to sell (without proper record keeping). That's exactly why many vendors say they won't ship to LA. Period.

Indeed, Buffalo Arms will not ship to the city of Los Angeles... but Beverly Hills along with all of the other independent municipalities completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles are fine. So do you really live in LA, or just "LA"?

On a related note... Is there any sort of litigation in the works specifically regarding this? Or is this issue simply wrapped in with the effort to overturn AB962?

We ship into LA county, but not to an individual in the city of Los Angeles. We have shipped to FFL's in Los Angeles so that they can handle the paperwork and transfer.
