    more than 5 PPT's

    Has anyone ever had any problems with more than 5 PPT's on handguns per year?

    NO I have done 5 in one day and never heard anything about the transaction.

      The restriction is on handgun sellers and that's 5 transactions per year, involving 1 to many handguns in any transaction.

        so my local FFL can't sell more then 5 handguns a year....care to rephrase that.

          I know DOJ has mentioned it to my FFL about the number transaction some people do.

              you need to look at the context of his reply. It was related to PPT sales, whch don't apply to a dealer. Your local FFL falls under this,

              12070. (a) No person shall sell, lease, or transfer firearms unless he or she has been issued a license pursuant to Section 12071. Any person violating this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
              that "5 transactions" exemption does not apply to him.
