I would not want to be the shooter. Gang members don't typically take kindly to people shooting their compatriots. I hope he can stay anonymous.

Leave me alone with all of this nonsense and go shoot them for yourself."

Here in Kaliforna it would have read "Gangbanger pulls gun on helpless party goers steals keg. Police file a report."

I wish the Sheriff's would wake up and release law abiding citizens who get CCW permits aren't the problem.

Glad he won't be charged but I would have to recommend to all CGNers who can't see this already, this is a very sketchy situation and you might not be so lucky if you find yourself in one like it.
So you think things would have ended better for him if he didn't have a gun with him? He would either be dead, or he wouldn't have stood up for the women at all who would have probably been beaten.

This exact same thing happens in CA all the freakin time. Except here, the news story is "Police are looking for 2 gunmen who fatally shot several people at party Saturday night"

I think the point that some are trying to make here is that situation avoidance is the best defense...failing that, a gun is the last resort. Better to attend an intimate party with a trustworthy group of friends than a large party with lots of alcohol, unknown persons and loose crowd control.

Yeah, but for two bucks a head, it was probably Budweiser....the whole keg is not worth the cost of a round he expended,,,,,

Doesn't say that the shooter was the homeowner. And it says his wife was a woman at the party.
