Should it pass, legally? No. Do our elected representatives care about the law? ...

The implications of AB1934 have been many times over. I just thought people would like to keep up in the news.

They do because they don't recognize the right. It's not one that is in the CA Constitution, and the CA Legislature (in light of SCOTUS incorporation against the states) still does not recognize or respect RKBA. They will continue to thumb their noses until they are stopped (if they are ever stopped).

It will just be another nail in their coffin if they pass it....people are more fed up with uber liberal Dems forcing things down their throat these last 2 years than they were with 8 years of Bush...

You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

^^^^ agreed. I haven't spent time watching them before... it's saddening, sickening and infuriating. Not even the laws specifically, but how it's almost this mockery of a flow chart process.

Did it get submitted? -> Yes -> Will it get approved? -> Yes -> What is the final vote? -> 25:11 (4 abstain/absent).

By the way, guess what the D:R ratio in the Senate is. You get one guess. Hint: It has to do with the final vote ratio.

Each item gets a 60 second explanation if that and then they vote on it....what a joke...

i hope this bill gets shot down.....

This is a joke. Some of these laws are just tax revenue for the state, they are written so obscurely that they don't really tell you where the money is going to, just that it will need to be collected.
