    So many ridiculous laws...

So I was reading the CRPA "The Firing Line" newsletter's Legislative Report on the first page, and man is it confusing, and that's just the summary. Is this the tactic that is being used by anti-self-defense people? Just to lay down tons of confusing laws so that other states won't even bother with sending us ammo and firearms?

I was reading the summary on SB 282 and AB 2358 (ammo buying bills I guess), and they leave a lot up to city and county ordinances. Are you kidding? I will cry (just kidding, I will keep fighting) if I see a calguns flow chart on how to buy ammo legally.

So it seems that legislators have given up on banning firearms and are submitting ammo bills like crazy. When and how will this stop?

I think McDonald will eventually stop this. The RKBA has been deemed "fundamental" and, that being the case, a logical extension to that is that the right to have ammo readily available to us is also "fundamental" since it is a part of the RKBA (without ammo a firearm is little more than a paperweight).

In the shorter term it may be that CGF's suit to prevent further implementation of AB962 may also discourage some of those ordinances.

Maybe the most important thing would be if we who support the RKBA would show up for our City Council meetings.

Anyone have an idea as to when McDonald will be decided upon by the lower court, and how that will help cases going forth (considering we have DC v. Heller already)

McDonald was already decided by the Supreme Court, http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/in...ald_v._Chicago

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

SCOTUS remanded it back down to the lower court. To quote your link "At the Supreme Court the 7th circuit decision was reversed and remanded."

IIRC, SCOTUS told the lower court to decide the case in light of the Heller decision. We are still waiting for the lower court to decide, right?

I think you mean "in light of the McDonald decision"?

Or maybe I'm not remembering correctly? ('Twouldn't be the first time I was wrong. . .)
