I'd also point out that there were a bunch of people who thought that Christianson here in Stanislaus was just posturing for his re-election when he effectively declared that he would go "Shall Issue".

The bit that I've been able to track has suggested that he is now accepting "Personal Protection" and the like as "Good Cause".

I'd say that if Daniels has that level of commitment from Cooper (and I'd bet that Daniels knows at what level he can trust Cooper) and you combine the pending Sykes decision - that Cooper is going to be really close to "Shall Issue" after the election.

If Daniels is being 100% truthful about Cooper's brand new stance on 2A, then I sure hope he's right. I'm not holding my breath though.

The word "commonsense" in his statement rubs me the wrong way.

I'd like to hear more from Daniels on this...

I don't trust Cooper's change around 60 days from an election, sorry.


ON the other hand, who running this campaign for Scott Jones ?? I have called twice about getting yard signs or even to help deliver them. Do they not need help ??
