    Freedom Poll

Is it just me, or does everyone feel a bit freer than we did Monday morning ? I know I do. Now, I can say that I have a right to keep and bear arms and no one can say, "No you don't."

So how do you feel ?

+1 for freedom. Now we don't have to hear the argument about 2A being for a militia and not for every citizen.

To me there is no more argument. Unfortunately it took 230 years to resolve the issue.

          less free

I didn't see hunting, target shooting or collecting protected
          by McDonald or Heller.

I didn't see them being excluded. I think the umbrella effect covers hunting, target shooting and collecting.

you don't know your masters- they can have a party now.
What and where is self defense defined? Lot of in the home and self defense language to define. Define "bear"? Define
"commonly used arms"? Hunting, collecting and target shooting is not specifically addressed in SCOTUS decisions.
What about all the new laws to be made in response? How about --"It is now a felony to be transporting a firearm and make a traffic violation" If your masters are willing to fine you $500.00 for accidentally getting caught in an intersection in Santa Monica just wait until you violate any one of the thousands of new "reasonable local gun regulations"

Instead of worrying about the what-if's (which we can't do anything about since they are a fantasy) let's think about taking down those restrictions that are unequivocally unconstitutional.

Worry about what the politicians might do to you is no different than worrying about what MS-13 is going to do to you. No need to get your panties in a bunch before something happens, but be prepared for if it does. In the meantime keep your nose clean and try to pursue happiness as is your right.

Like law suits, I guess they can make stupid laws as well, but keeping them will be what they have to overcome. San Francisco tried to get a local law by having their residence voting for it. It was tossed out on legal grounds and now we will have state laws thrown out on Constitutional grounds. I have a right to keep and bear arms. Now one can tell me otherwise.

I don't worry about it *I know* based upon their history they will attack any Liberty we have. This is why trying to rollback a few gun laws is useless unless we take the offensive to protect Liberty itself. The entire cancer of Statism needs to be removed. Regulatory power, Police State and the rest of the social ills that accompany tyranny need to severely curtailed.

                        I feel about the same.

I guess leaning on the more free side.

I feel like it was Christmas Monday, and I was 5 years old, and I was told that I was going to get a really great gift. Only thing was, I had no idea when I'd be getting the gift, or if it was what I really wanted. Now it's 2 days later, and I can't help but thinking every day...'when am I going to get my present?'

I know it's going to take time...perhaps a lot of time, but I want something that can hold me over...just give me something...anything...please!

I bet $100.00 that in ten years from now there will be more gun laws on the books than there are now! The problem is the entire system it's power to interfere in our lives needs to be severely restricted. Really Hawaii has been registering guns for 50 years and not one crime has been solved as a result similar for handguns with Canada. Yet these govt's continue to make more rules and more regulations--because that is what they do! To a hammer everything is a nail, to a gov't all citizens are subjects of their management program so they can remain solvent. They do what they do. We need to pursue the Liberty issue or all is lost.
