    CFLC needed for Rifles?

Looked around a bit the CFLC FAQ doesn't say and couldn't find any threads in the search. But if I order a rifle from out of state they have to use the CFLC?

The short answer is yes, the out of state FFL must go through the CFLC for both long guns and hand guns.

    5. I am an FFL located outside of California. I ship/transfer firearms to California FFLs. Am I affected by the California Firearms Licensee Check (CFLC) Program?

Yes. You must obtain a Firearms Shipment Approval number from CADOJ Bureau of Firearms prior to delivering a firearm to a California FFL. Consequently, you will need to enroll in the CFLC program to obtain Firearms Shipment Approval numbers prior to shipping firearms to California.

If it is shipped from an 01 FFL to an 01 FFL in California, it needs a CFLC approval number. Period.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
