The interviewer said "Why should I protect myself?". What a stupid question. Another misinformed person with a victim mentality. She also said arming people was a wrong. I guess she has not read the constitution. This just reinforces my theory that most of the reporters that work for these news stations are not very intelligent.

RT is an English language Russian news network. The anchor's perspective is that of somebody who did not grow up with the constitutional protections we enjoy in this country, therefore the amazement with our system. You can hear her working hard to cover her accent with a Brighton Beach/ New Jersey accent.

IMHO, she was very clearly anti-gun and thought it was a ludicrous idea to allow citizens to own and carry. When she said she has never owned or even shot a gun, I wish his response was why not? You might enjoy it. And how can you be against something that's Constitutionally protected and you've never even tried it?

I don't care how hot they are, if she is to flunk the stereotype test of thinking only white trash carries for the purpose of being patriotic as she did (OK, she didn't say WT, but she really wanted to say WT), she should stay right where she is.

I was a bit shocked (maybe I shouldn't have been) at her state of naive when she talked of how "we can't depend on Police for protection anymore, and how Police are there to PROTECT AND SERVE... She should read Warren v. District of Columbia... I would say a few other things about why she might have her own show on the Internet, but I won't.

I was thinking the same thing. Last time I called the sheriff it took ten minuets to get a car to my house when someone was trying to break in. Glad I had the means to protect the family if they got in.
