Go to this site to hear Chuck DeVore's comments on the 2ndA. He talks about it at about 8:30 into the video:

Vote for Chuck DeVore for the US Senate on Jun 8.

I have been sent on many business trips right around the time of the primaries. I just go down to the Registrar of Voters and vote early. Usually, there is no line.
      Please, join the NRA.

And a richly deserved one, as well, IMO.

That Chuck DeVore has a strongly pro-gun voting record and Fiorina does not is solely a matter of DeVore having held elective office and Fiorina not having done so.

I was aware that Fiorina is an NRA member, the only thing I don't know is how long she has been a member. Long term or is her membership "Romney-like"? No one here may know the answer, so my question is solely rhetorical.

As I've said before, I'm supporting Chuck DeVore in the primary. I don't expect him to win and, unfortunately, I seriously doubt he could beat Boxer in a general election in California. We can send a strong message to Fiorina with a solid second place finish for DeVore that she needs to stay off the progressive Republican / McCain crack pipe and give more than lip service to conservative values. A strong message of fiscal responsibility, slashing government size and spending, and standing firm for individual rights and liberty is what can beat Boxer this year.

The only catch is that it has to be a woman to do it, realistically, in this state and political climate. And the only candidate that meets that requirement is Fiorina.

This is an interesting point as far as 2A goes. For her to know, or believe, that she beat Gore by less than she "should have" due to his 2A strength might go some ways toward keeping her on the reservation.

Getting rid of Barbara Boxer is the paramount concern, IMHO.

Carly has a much better chance in the general election, so she's getting my vote. If we gunowners split, we're liable to have Campbell be the Republican candidate. And if that happens, we lose...we get an F-rated U.S. Senator either way.
