    Colt Python from Florida?

    Guy's,

I have a chance to get a Mint 4" Nickle Colt Python. It is located in Florida and I checked the DOJ list but am unclear on whether is it legal to transfer to Kali. or not.

If it's 50 years old or older it would qualify as a C. & R. and be list exempt.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Find out what year it was made.

Colt Pythons were made from 1955-1996.
The Pythons made during 1955-1959 are considered C&R handguns and are exempt from the approved list.
