anyone ever get stopped by LEO at Rattlesnake in Rosamond.

Ive shot here tons of times, and never had any trouble, but recently, Ive heard from a couple of local people that they had a bad experience with LEO's either given people a hard time for OLL's or just telling people they cant shoot there. Anyone here have an experience like this there?

I had a run in with a sherriff there a ways back. He told me and my group not to shoot there anymore. I told him Ive shot there since I was a kid and thought it was a designated shooting area. He then asked me where I was from and I told him (LA area). Then, get this, the guy tells me that I could shoot there if I was a local but since I wasnt...

I was incredulous but didnt want to push the guy, we were done and cleaned up anyway. Ive been back once or twice since... figure Im local enough being American and all.

Nope, I've never been there myself...damn that place is a mess. I see in the thread you posted that there will be a cleanup event this weekend. I'd lend a hand, but we're headed to Vegas for a long weekend.
