I just purchased my M1A with cluster rail, I understand that you cannot put a vertical forward grip on the bottom rail in California, Is it legal to put a bipod and scope in California??

Scope-yes
No vertical grip.
You can also use 20 rounder mags if you had them before the ban.'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

Shoots great! You don't need a forward grip nor a pistol grip. Shoot it the way Garand designed it.Comment

IMO, it does not feel natural to shoot the SOCOM with a vertical grip. Also I don't like the added weight of the rail.
