    M1A SOCOM II

I just purchased my M1A with cluster rail, I understand that you cannot put a vertical forward grip on the bottom rail in California, Is it legal to put a bipod and scope in California??

    Thnx,

    Bipod-yes
    Scope-yes
    No vertical grip.

You can also use 20 rounder mags if you had them before the ban.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

except for the specifically mentioned features:
      # Flash Suppressor
      # Forward Pistol Grip
      # Flare/Grenade Launcher
      # Pistol Grip
      # Collapsible Stock
      # Thumbhole Stock

You can do whatever you'd like.

Shoots great! You don't need a forward grip nor a pistol grip. Shoot it the way Garand designed it.

IMO, it does not feel natural to shoot the SOCOM with a vertical grip. Also I don't like the added weight of the rail.
