    Possible way to import "Dimensionally Compliant SS" 1911

    What do you guys think?

    Hera Chassis (no stock, no VFG)+sled+magazine lock= Imported like Single Shot AR15 pistol?

    ETA: Changed thread title to reflect proper legal term

    It's not a NeRF if it's a dimensionally-compliant Roster-exempt single-shot pistol.

    If the pistol has:
    • single-shot status (locked-in dummy mag, locked-in zero-cap mag);
    • AND minimum 6" barrel length
    • AND minimum 10.5" overall length parallel to boreline

    ... then it's a 12133PC Roster-exempt single-shot pistol.

    The only issue I see on your setup is getting a long barrel. It may be "weird" (and possibly unsafe for grasp?) if that frame were longer than the barrel.

      "Dimensionally-compliant Roster-exempt single-shot pistol"

      Okay, Gotcha!

      I have not seen a Hera system in person, but it looks Polymer based. If so, I'm sure it can be easily cut back to a more reasonable length to the barrel.
