Was there any opposition? Public opposition at the meeting.

What was the vote, 5/0 3/2?

Thank you all involved very much for you hard work. Congrats!!

Now just the lift on the state ban. It would be nice not to have to bring 30 mags to the range. lol

I'd like to know too. What comments did the City Council members have?

Nevermind, I found the video online. Lasted all of 3 minutes. no speakers, repeal passed unanimously by the Council with a statement to "explore alternative legislative approaches"

Should the City of Richmond or any other jurisdiction try to adopt alternative proposals that
seek to regulate the possession of firearm magazines, the legal groundwork laid in preparation
for this suit will allow for a swift challenge to those measures in court.
