Wanted: Store that sells ammo but not guns

    All,

I need to find a friend of the Calguns community who has a store that sells ammunition but does not have an FFL or otherwise generally sell firearms. If anyone knows a bait and tackle shop or something similar please email me contact information. I can be reached at hoffmang at hoffmang dot com.

Wallmart, the Big5 in Menlo Park(they don't have a FFL), and isn't Miwall's headquarters located in Grass Valley?

a well known shop with name starting with 'T" in San Leandro got their FFL pulled a few years back but they still sell ammo and lots of other outdoors type stuff, including gun parts.

Gateway Hardware store sells ammo here in Inyokern, but doesn't sell guns. This is a very gun-friendly area, I wouldn't doubt they're an exception. I don't know if they had an FFL in the past, but I'd be willing to bet they simply let it expire if they did (ie didn't get it yanked).

Approaching Wal-Mart is a very good idea. At least it doesn't hurt to ask..they may like the idea of push-back after the way CA's traditionally treated them.

For what it's worth, there is an Ace Hardware in Georgetown, CA that sells ammunition but not guns.

I can't speak to "friend of the Calguns community ", but the Georgetown Hardware store (95634) sells ammunition. El Dorado County is pretty friendly to 2A types (at least in the rural areas).

Quite a few shooting ranges sell ammo only...

I know Los Altos Rod & Gun carries a variety of ammo for their shooters.

Not sure if this counts as a "store" or not.

I'm pretty sure that LAR&G has a club FFL though.
