i need to clear things up a little. i did a dros on 11/11 and am picking my new gun up on the 21st (10 days) i want to buy another handgun and i am wondering when i can do another dros. the way i read the law was that the 1st day counted is the date the dros was submitted (11/11) and then you count out 30 days which would be 12/10, but if i do the 30 24 hour periods (like the count the 10 day wait period) i will be at 12/11 in the early afternoon. i am asking because i searched old threads about this and guys made it seem with the way they counted i would not be able to dros until 12/13.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

By looking at the OP post I am figuring on early afternoon on 12/13 your set to go for the next DROS."I declare to you that women must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself, and there I take my stand." Susan B. AnthonyComment
