Tonight the Golden Gate NRA Members' Council ( www.ggnra.org ) was graced by the presence of bwiese, hoffmang, ivanimal, rkt88edmo, and "Dutch Flats" (sorry I forgot your screen name). Bill gave a killer presentation on the intricacies of the California assault weapons rulings and educated us all, while hoffmang gave us a look at the future of attachable magazines.
Sometimes, while we are punching holes in paper or popping that 1 liter soda bottle, bagging a deer or some ducks, or shooting for some prize or at least lowest score of the day, we forget just how much legal mumbo-jumbo it took for us to enjoy our sport in this crazy state.
Along with the California NRA Members Councils, it takes great folks like all of you here on Calguns to take the unjust laws out, and insure our state legislators protect our precious right to keep and bear arms.
First came rocks and sticks, then bows and arrows, then flintlocks and black powder, to cartridge ammunition, rocket-propelled rounds, and now Calguns! Ain't progress great?
