    Turners Outdoorsman Cheating its Managers

Turners Outdoorsman settled in a class action law suiet brought forth by one of the former managers on behalf of many of the asst managers and store managers!
Turners said after the case was settled that they were going to file chapter 11 bankruptcy! instead the company was sold and now the appx $400,000.00 owed to its managers is not being paid. no bankruptcy equals a valid debt? am i correct?
This company worked its managers more hours then they were paid for, refused to pay bonus's that were due to managers and now they do not make good on their proposed settlement.
WHAT KIND OF CRAP COMPANY IS THIS???????????

Turners Outdoorsman in the begining part of the year proposed a settlement on a class action lawsuit brought against them on the behalf of all salary managers. this is because Turners worked its managers to many hours and did not pay them for it.
Turners agreed to pay over $400,000.00 and now that the settlement has been finalized for half of a year Turners still refuses to pay its debt to their own managers.
Turners has a habbit of not paying for the hours that managers work, thy also have a bad habbit of not paying managers the bonus's that have been agreed upon durring salary negotiations.
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS DIS-HONEST COMPANY? HAVE FUN SHOPING THERE IF YOU WANT!!!

Do you have a link? Are you currently a manager at one of the Turners locations?

A new one, with new ownership and leadership.

The new Turners is committed to supporting us. Let's give them time to work through their issues.

BTW, this belongs in another forum.

I will say that, while the prices are still ridiculous, the selection and stocking choices have gotten much better.
Then another horse PONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.

Since you're posting this everywhere, who are you and what is your interest in this case?

                Sucks for them.
Seems like the previous owners found a loop hole by selling off the company.
                Maybe?

I think the "new" turners is much better. They have a full inventory of various handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The staff even seems to be a little nicer and friendly.

If you DROS something there, plan on it taking 45 to 60 minutes during the sale and at pickup. I have experienced this at their Orange, Corona and Chino Hills stores several times. It's painful. Riflegear in Costa Mesa takes about 10 to 15 minutes. I am going there from now on whenever I can.

Funny that another member had to provide this information for consideration...

I posted this one of the many thread LOL, so just incase they get delted, this one seems to have more traction

People are lucky to have salary. When theres work, you work your *** off and do what needs to be done. When work is slow and not much too do you will still be paid as if it where a productive day even though the company did not make money. They wont a settlement for "working too hard ? " BS
*DISCLAIMER* I probably misspelled alot of things, and i dont care...

This thread closed. Regardless of the outcome of the OP's issue with Turners, cross-posting this in so many sub-forums is unnecessary and off-topic.
