    Need Research in Sacto (McGeorge)

I need a researcher in Sacramento to go to McGeorge and look up some stuff.

I'm doing some research on Justice Anthony Kennedy (US Supreme Court) for a pro-gun lawyer.

Apparently, Justice Kennedy mentioned in a recent 9th Circuit Judicial Conference that, "in the 1970's" he taught a seminar on the Second Amendment, just because he thought it was interesting.

Justice Kennedy taught at McGeorge 1965-1988, but after being appointed to the 9th Circuit in 1975 his teaching load was probably minor. So if his dating is correct we're probably looking at some date between 1970 and 1975. He implied that it was only taught once.

I was wondering if there were some course catalogs from the relevant time period and possibly even the instructional materials.

Is there anyone who thinks that they could assist me with this?

    Thanks,

I am Mcgeorge graduate and live close to there. I even have a McGeorge library card. I am still in contact with some of the older professor who might be able to help. Seminar sounds like it was not a regular course, I know he still teaches courses for McGeorge during the summer in Salzberg. So it might be one of those classes.
I cant do it till next week but PM me if you want me to go check it out.

If getting someone up there doesn't pan out, consider talking to the law librarians. They're a sort of institutional memory at law schools and may know exactly what you're talking about, and where to find the information you need. If you're really nice to them, they might even grab it for you and fax it off, free of charge.
