    Repairing Hi-Cap Mag

    Good Morning All,

Let's say I own a high-cap mag for my pistol (13rnds). Would I legally be able to repair it with parts from a higher capacity mag? i.e. repair it so it hold 17 instead of 13? Thanks!

Yes. The law define's a high cap mag as one that can hold more then 10 rounds. You rebuild it, and it's still a high cap. Same reasoning as the addition of the +2 baseplates on preban high caps.

      Yes. Legal.
      Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
