You guys have really got your tin foil hats on tight don't you? There is no way we're going to see any gun control on the Federal level. Not only has it historically proven to be a big loser for the Dems, but right now their majority rests on the shoulders of a significant number of pro-life, pro-gun, anti-gay Democrats.
If only we were lucky enough to have them attempt gun control! If they did that they'd be out of there in two years. There are plenty of grass roots groups just waiting for some of those narrowly elected conservative dems to make just one mistake. One of the new "Democrats" ran as a Republican in an election just a few years earlier.

Hell! There's no difference between the Republicans and Democrats once they get to DC. It's a one party system. All for one and one for all. Jr. hasn't done squat during his tenure. You know, I was really optimistic that Bush was going to make a real difference when he was first elected.
