    Ak Glove

I working on a Glove for a grip less AK. I am working on a glove that has a hook that you can hook in the hole where the grip goes on a AK. It does not stay on the rifle and it is not a grip. Do you think it is leagal. What do you guys think about this idea. Mike

LOL it's novel I'll give you that. Don't know enough to say if that's legal or not. It's an item which allows you to achieve a pistol like grasp so I have to think it's probably not Kosher...however it's not part of the gun...

    Regards,

    James R.

I'm sure after a conviction, appeal, and a $50,000 attorney bill you would be exhonorated.

If its worth taking the risk, go for it!

Don't believe it's legal to hold any pistol like grip up to an AK even if it's not attached let alone one that is hooked onto the receiver if you are going detachable mag configuration.

So you guys say it is a no go. One thing to remember is that it is not a pistol grip and your thumb and fore finger are not raped around it. But you guys might be right i might pushing it to far. Mike

Go for it. I was thinking about a similar idea. Maybe a spring loaded type grip that drops off when not in the palm of your hand. It would not be connected to the actual receiver. I don't see how it would be any different than holding a gun with barbeque tongs instead of your hand. Design some prototypes and then test them out in nevada and report your results.

Posting a picture or a drawing of what your planning would be helpful.

Maybe if you put the detachable grip on TOP of the glove and cannot be grasped... then that'd be kosher but that'd diminish the use of the grip as the glove would have to be very tight. Just buy a dragonuv ak stock and fill the hole.

If you're an attorney, a high net worth individual, independantly wealthy, or recently won the lottery go for it!

If you're none of the above I'd save up around $10,000 before I attempted what you're describing. Play it safe.
