Beautiful thing about us far N. Californiayians is everyone is armed. Walking into the store to pay your gas pump carrying in plain sight is no big deal.

As I kinda forgot about my sig holstered and did yesterday..

Point taken, but I think the issue was staying legal....

Good people sleep peaceably in their bed at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

so uhh why do you need to carry in public for work?

ok if if someone can not own a weapon for x amount of years.. can they just transfer it to their spouse and then "borrow" it?

My public is mainly rocks, trees, mountains, and the need is for the occasional pi$$ed off critter that is having a bad day, and feels like taking it out on me.

Up here thankfully man is the last threat on the totem pole.

Man knows if he steps over the line, he most likely will get shot..

Bakersfield City cops tried to take an AR away from a woman a few years ago based on the fact that her husband was on Felony Probation and couldn't be around guns. The City cops tried to argue that it was a Straw Man purchase. But they were unable to provide evidence to back that up, it was just their "opinion".
The judge refused to sign the confiscation order, saying that it was his problem, not her problem. Meaning, she had the right to own the gun, but he didn't have to live there.
I thought the judge did alright.

              A few clarifications:

1)Misdemeanor domestic violence will take away your gun rights forever, not ten years. That is a federal law, not state.

2)A convicted felon's wife can own guns provided he has no access to them. This means a gun safe or trigger lock of which he does not know the combination.

              3) Carrying a concealed loaded firearm is a misdemeanor the first time if you are not a member of a gang. Second time is a felony.
