Billy club legal if it contains OC?

Last year I traveled to France and Italy with a Cold Steel City Stick. It had the stainless steel pistol grip. Only problem I had was in Germany when their TSA questioned its use. I advised them that I needed the stick to walk safely. When you can't CCW, one can carry a walking stick.

If you want to carry something for self defense why not carry a some sort of knife such as a folding knife, assisted opening knife, open carry a fix blade knife(concealing is a felony, also LA city has length limits for fix blade knives)...you will be complaint and imo a bit more effective then a billy club.

So when my Mosin-Nagant is unloaded, it's completely illegal because at that point it's a restricted billy club?

And then if I fix a bayonet to the Mosin, it's legal again because then it would be a spear and not a club?

Yup ,now you got it ! See how easy all this is when you apply convoluted logic ? A claw hammer {even concealed} is legal to carry. So is a pepper sprayer. So.... a hammer with a sprayer should be ok. It's not a baton!
