    Who are we backing?

    Hello All,

I was wondering if any decision has been made as to who we will be backing for the primary. I remember reading that David Hamer and Gary W. Clift, both Republicans if that matters, were the two with the most gun friendly posture. When it comes to my rights, I'll vote for any party that represents my views.

Who is running, I can't find that anywhere?

On killing in self defense: I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I would also rather my friends and family come visit me in prison than come to visit my grave.

No poster at this forum/board should vote for Henry Waxman or Barbara Boxer .

I was able to stomach watching Henry Waxman for 5 minutes on CSpan the other day. It was a horrible, horrible 5 minutes.

Hopes this helps. Ballots need to be in before the 1st of Sept. I don't think I could stand for another Barbara Boxer or Dianne Feinstein, not that I don't like women... just not those two!

I bet there are at least 5-10 los angeles area posters here who voted for him before and will again ...

I was refering to a collective vote by Cal Gun members to rid ourselves of numbskull "Representatives" who don't "Represent" us...again "US" meaning Cal Gun members.

I thought for governor our best pro-gun guy is Jerry Brown.

Not sure about the other races.

Harmer is probably the best bet in a head to head with whichever dem gets the most votes though it's unlikely any rep can win in a runoff in November.

this is a special election to replace ellen (not sure of her first name) tauser (not sure of the spelling ha) in the 10th district. this district covers parts of solano, yuba counties + parts of some other counties.

The candidates running to replace Ellen Tauscher (who is now Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security) in the upcoming 10th Congressional District special election were recently discussed here.

David Harmer is the Republican Party's endorsed candidate. He's also a legal historian who has strongly supported the 2nd Amendment. One of his seminal articles on the 2nd Amendment is archived by the Second Amendment Foundation here and has been cited many, many times, including in amici briefs in the Heller case. This article should be required reading for all calguns members; David Harmer could be the most articulate pro-gun politician in California today.
