      Here is an instance of when it would be just fine and proper to do so. Also a good example of way having the right to carry anywhere and every is a good idea.

          I'd say 'harassing' is any action from the dog that may spook the horses...freaky horses can injure themselves and/or humans. I'm unsure as to the customs in suburban CA horse facilities, but in rural ID it's understood that a dog that 'harasses' livestock = a dead dog.

              Samething happened to my friend, he first used a BB rifle (then a real gun) and hit the dog, it ran straight out like a deer. So didn't have to use a gun
