However, deep blue California passed a law requiring retailers that primarily sell firearms to adopt it by May 2025.

You have a little more than a year to out think the professionally stupid.
    It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

Somehow, pledging to continue purchasing what I please using credit cards with zero-liability fraud protection and cashback rewards, rather than carry around easily stolen envelopes filled with cash to gun stores has become twisted into an act of cowardice.

F*ck Democrats trying to chill the free exercise of the right to keep and bear arms.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The Second Amendment makes us citizens, not subjects. All other enumerated rights are meaningless without gun rights.

Don't forget, come Monday... Should gun store sales get special credit card tracking? States split on mandating or prohibiting it

Beginning Monday, a California law will require credit card networks like Visa and Mastercard to provide banks with special retail codes
Visa, Amex, others will provide codes to track gun purchases in California

        ?

I never heard about this one starting tomorrow July 1st. Doesn't really affect me as I only use a CC for online purchases. But Stupid! They can't trace cash...

A new California law will require credit card networks to give banks special codes assigned to gun stores, in order to track their sales.

Under Article 1 Section 1 of the California Constitution, we have the inalienable right to PRIVACY.
This clearly violates my rights and is unconstitutional, therefore, under Shuttlesworth v Birmingham AL, 1969, no one has to comply.

i hope someone will challenge this, now that we have standing.

By the same article, if you misread it the way you are doing it, you also have an inalienable right to property, safety, and happiness. So how can anyone be poor? How can anyone slip and fall and break their leg? How can anyone be bummed that their favorite foot-, base- or basket-ball team lost?

Si tacuisses ... alas, you have now exposed yourself as not being a philosopher. Honestly, I often wonder whether a lot of the accounts on gun forums such as these are actually sock puppets operated by anti-gun groups. Just so that any person reading this stuff thinks that being associated with guns or pushing for gun rights lowers people's IQ to room temperature, in Celsius.

I wonder how someone like Big 5 or Bass Pro would be categorized. They sell a lot more than firearms or ammo.

Exactly what are they thinking would indicate a "potential active shooter" ? SMH
