It's been obvious that the Left has been using states such as California and Massachusetts as 'testing grounds' for awhile.

It's been just as obvious that the Left (and particularly the Biden Administration) has been intent on bringing (ahem) "California Values" (cough, sputter) nationwide since before his election. The state, even while voting so Democratic overall, nonetheless sends 40 Democrats and 12 Republicans to the House of Representatives. With a mere 222R-212D majority, having 12 California Republicans is critical to defending the right to keep and bear arms at the federal level.
