Negative. If you carry both a gun, and the ammuntion for the gun at a gun show, you will be in violation of 12071.4 (g)

12071.4. (a) This section shall be known, and may be cited as, the Gun Show Enforcement and Security Act of 2000.
(g) No person at a gun show or event, other than security personnel or sworn peace officers, shall possess at the same time both a firearm and ammunition that is designed to be fired in the firearm. Vendors having those items at the show for sale or exhibition are exempt from this prohibition.

If you wish to sell the ammuntion, wait until after the sale of the firearm and the buyer can take possession of the ammo in the parking lot.

At the last show I went to one of the sellers was really pissed because he was prohibited from leaving the building. He was diabetic, it was very hot in the building, the food stands were all outside, so I don't blame him! Is that a stsewide mandate as well?
Anyhow, if the buyer is a vendor and he can't or doesn't want to leave the building, you could make a second trip back into the show with the ammunition.
