I would think if it was black and had anything protruding from the bottom, it would automatically be reported as a M 16.

So if the media actually report a .22 caliber I think they mean .22 rimfire. I hope so at least.

I called buddy Scott tonight, a fellow gunnie. He feels bad for Mr. Johns and his family, but it could have been a lot worse today..The old Kook could have had an AR or AK type semiautomatic rifle and got pass the guards..There were hundreds of people in the Holocaust Museum, the potential loss of life could have been much higher. Perhaps enough to demand another Fed AW ban ( I know, would not have prevented it)
