I hate the guy. However, he did exactly what an opposition party politician should do in a time of crisis. He worked with the president, and avoided politicizing it thus far, from what I can see. So yeah, he's generally someone I would never be caught voting for. That said, he was among the first to point out that Trump and White House are working with the states.

I also agree with you. Of course he could do more for Californians rn, but he isn't pooping the bed like I thought. Maybe all those years of being in politics has taught him a little patience and maturity. While Trump and the Republicans/Conservative Media were lying about the Corona Virus hoax and urging their followers to congregate etc, Gov Nuisance was taking care of CA by starting CA's SIP, which has allowed CA's COVID-19 curve to look like South Korea's rather than China's/Italy's/Spain's, and soon to be Georgia's/Florida's (Spring Break)/Louisiana's (Mardi Grais) etc.

He's also gone out and found PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) in quantity at decent prices from Asia, so CA's front-line heath care workers will not have to worry about PPE when CA's COVID-19 infections peak in May sometime.

Yeah he's slimy, and yeah I don't agree with a lot of his 2A stance, but he's done the right things for CA so far with regards to COVID-19, props where props are due, unlike the Federal response which was a month plus late and only now getting up to speed, and initially minimized the dangers which has added to the misery.

You are aware the Covid PPE is mostly a state's issue and when they need assistance, then a Federal one? Republicans were urging their followers to congregate? Do you not remember the dems responce over the President taking a pre-emptive strike and banning travel from China?

As far as I'm concerned, he's an empty shirt.

He might get my support if he rolled back every anti-gun law in this state. But, I think a snowball in a blast furnish has a better chance of surviving than our governor doing that.
