I was specifically referring to him using the Guard, but he's ignored laws before when he was mayor of S.F. There is precedent, and it could be much worse.

The nation as a whole hates Californians. Newsom will never be President. It sure isn't obvious from your statement that you "don't like Newsom."

By my reading, this has more to do with court operating procedures than laws that affect the average citizen. Basically, it relaxes some of the rules for attorneys so that they can better represent their clients during the quarantine.

Why would the Dems ever nominate someone from California for President or VP for that matter. The State is a lock for them and is a wasted slot. You ultimately, if at all possible, try to put people in those two positions who can ensure the states they represent are in the win column on election day.
