Shouldn't be a surprise given he ran as a democrat and was endorsed by the LA Democratic party. Elected by the liberal elites and the Latino majority solely for his pro sanctuary city policies and supported by the deputies union as well...Those three endorsements, LA Democratic party, Latino activists and the Deputies Union foretold all...

WTF! But "S"-popular coffee shop and street vendors are essential business. Yeah ok! We know what's going on. "We can see clearly now..."

Confirmation that confirms 100% that Sheriff Alex Villanueva is an absolute
        piece of sheit.

That POS can suck eggs. He has no authority to order this. I'll add, we are watching the stores to see who folds and who stands up.

Before some one says its not 2nd Amendment related, but it is, the core rights that our new Republic recognized were in alienable rights.

English persons were prohibited from gathering more than 5 persons at a time to suppress Religion, in 1664.

Our Bill of Rights, the first Amendments, were specially tailored to address the abuse of the English Monarchy.

Self determination is covered in these First Amendments and are directly tied to past events of the Founders.

Any Governmental Entity, LA County Sheriff, or whatever, that tramples these rights should be sued.

Self Protection is a core Right.

Considering that he protects wife beater cops, I'm not surprised. I just hope that if any gun stores do follow his "order" that they make it clear to him that they will be closed to his deputies as well.

FFLs closed. Lots of firearms locked up. I hope a compromise can be found so those that have started dros can pickup.

It is, but it's also CA politics related to guns, so fine in this forum.

I'd have to disagree, John Scott was an outstanding Sheriff during his very brief tenure in office. His policy on CCW may not have been right on point, but he did a really good job of undoing a lot of the damage done by Sheriff Baca.

Something seriously wrong with releasing 1700 inmates into the public and ordering gun stores to close in the same story.

Stop selling guns not stores being closed. Big 5 sells guns and they are open.
