She is also an anti vaccine mom that would sue the school district for her kid getting Measles

This is typical anti-gun logic to argue against firearms. They use "soccer balls and tennis shoes" as well as proximity to local schools to make a false case that the selling of guns is a bad thing. No mention that Big 5 sells fishing poles and tackle, and I'm sure the store is equally proximate to hospitals, dentists, homeless centers...oh hell- auto repair shops, fast food joints, bus stops, police stations..... its an invalid argument, that most soft skulled mouth breathers blindly accept because they lack critical thinking skills.

I saw the article today, will call Monday when I'm sure there will be someone to answer it. I haven't posted a response to the letter in the IJ because I don't read the IJ.

Within a mile of a school is a problem?

Just another way of saying they want guns banned and don't want any stores to exist.

What I hate are the liars who try to imply they're "ok with hunting rifles" like her. If the issue is the (gasp) semi-autos then who cares about the distance from the school? It's about the distance from the school, then who cares about the semi-autos?

Should the store not be allowed to sell any guns "near" a school or should it be unable to sell certain guns?
