    more Orange County rumors...

Some info may have been lost in transfer, but more drama in the Orange County FFL vs ATF issue.

I'm hearing at least one area cop [unsure what dept/agency] was arrested and committed suicide.

Other cops apparently from at least that dept are being looked at as well....

Tttttthats all I know, so don't ask. Will update if necessary.

My BET is the investigation into the FA devices prob resulted in books being looked at and
    maybe more "gun flipping" found.

I have no idea if state level stuff referred to CA DOJ - sometimes it does or doesn't happen.

Is that all you know or all you are willing to tell.

I just had to ask, well, because...

COPS flip guns for profit... lol with how roster is implemented and inflated price in CA why I am not surprised? This is nothing new.

The Pasadena case is relatively ancient history. You would have to be hiding under a rock or dumber than a rock to be flipping non-roster handguns at this point. Besides, the big money is in flipping FA non-roster firearms.

How could cops think that selling full-auto components to gangbangers would turn out well?

At this point, we don’t know anything other than some COPS were investigated for flipping guns. But Yes they are dumber than a rock.

Apparently, “dumber than rock” don’t think much or they don’t believe they can ever get caught.

I see absolutely nothing ethically or morally wrong with cops flipping off roster weapons for profit.

Regardless of how people feel about the moral or ethical side of it, it appears that legally, it is wrong. Plenty of legal actions are unethical, and plenty of ethical actions are illegal.

This. legality is what matters. Moral or ethical are just personal opinions, which varies depend on who you ask. Even though I don't agree to most of the CA gun laws, I will still have to comply with them.

I don't completely agree with this. Ethical issues are not opinion based. But that's a whole different conversation.
