I would presume that anyone who is in an organization will click a response on the poll. Those who are not members and who also do not vote "0" are most likely not members of any progun rights organization. I would compare the number of "yes" votes in total against the number of views. A bit of simple math should tell us what percentage of folks viewing are members. Not an exact number, but ballpark accurate I'd say.

In spite of the negative whining we continue to fight. Maybe we will preserve your rights for you. I know we won't win if we sit on the internet and complain. Save your small change and let others do the work. Great plan.

Maybe we are looking at this phenomena all wrong in that we assume these people who constantly try to discourage NRA membership are really on our side but misled!

Its impossible for me to believe that sincere people cannot see the accomplishments of the NRA, who's members drive the organization toward preserving, protecting and furthering gun rights.

It seems those who bash the the NRA and its members at every opportunity are a contradiction !
Yet we know a" contradiction cannot exist" so its required we look at the premise's .

Premise #1 these are good sincere people who love gun rights and will work to further them but dislike the only effective organization in the USA .

Premise 2 These people are not good sincere people who want gun rights, but instead are people who are acting on calgunns as a 5th column to create a nation w/o 2A protections.

I have solved this and a contradiction doers not exist .

Previously I've donated thousands to CGF, but they have been laying low lately.

I'm skeptical of FPC because I only see emails and news interviews come from their activities. I'd throw in support if they were involved in a more tangible manner.

I don't sit and complain but I sure would like to see some actual progress in protecting gun rights in CA by any of these groups. It seems all the victories they claim sre related to concealed carry and not general gun rights. Millions wasted lobbying politicians who will never side with gun owners and court filings doomed to failure once they reach the 9th circuit. What a waste. The over the top radical comments by NRA spokespersons have about convinced me not to renew my membership again and I've been a member for over 50 years.

What exactly are the" over the top radical comments by NRA spokespersons" ?
