    Petition to remove the roster

How can a handgun be unsafe for civilians but ok for law enforcement?

The roster is a sham and a mockery.

Pay for play? Give me a break.

Roster is an insult to the 2nd amendment.

How do we remove it? Shall we sign a petition?

The petition will likely not work as has been shown previously. Too many Californians do not understand the 2nd amendment. The list would have to be defeated legally--in court. That's likely our only chance.

You'd first have to believe that the roster is about safe gun's.

        Forget the petition.

Join the NRA and/or CRPA and donate what you can for their legal challenges. Overturning the roster is next on their list.

The only way we can get movement on the roster is if every manufacturer drops all models off the list. That’s when we can get the ball moving. They would also have to cease all sales to LE. Basically, not happening.

I would like to see every handgun fall off the Roster. A federal lawsuit filed with a certain judge in San Diego would take care of the problem. A little short term pain for long term gain.

One measure for the efficacy of the roster in keeping us safe might be the number and percentage of handguns that fail the drop test?
The observation that the roster was never about safety is buttressed by analysis of the legislative history: it originally sought to declare recovers with a barrel shorter than three inches to be categorically unsafe.

I thought they have already been "working" on it, FOR TWO DECADES ???

I have often wondered how they work around this as well for LEO's. If it is an unsafe weapon and we shouldn't have one because of this why would we allow our LEO's to be around the public with unsafe weapons?
