    Out of State purchase?

My Company is sending me to Arizona for 1wk. If I see an OLL in a shop that I want, can I just buy it, or is it more complex than that?
I Googled for an answer, but I cannot get/do not understand some of the legal interpretations I've come across.

    For an OLL
You can buy it but the dealer there would have to ship it to your local CA FFL ( if he is willing ). Then you still have to DROS, pay sales tax, FFL fees & wait 10 fantastic days. I could be wrong!

I would not mind having to have them ship back to my FFL. I just thought it would be nice to actually go into a shop and hand pick a lower, as opposed to ordering off of a website and having it shipped.

You can buy a firearm in any state you want, but you can only take delivery of it in your state of residence, with few exceptions...

As long as you know an FFL in CA that will accept the lower, you can buy it there (tax free) and have them ship it to your FFL who will charge sales tax, DROS, and hold it for 10 days.

I think that would create an issue because the buyer would have to take posession in the "State of Residence". I don't know if AR pistols were ever certified for CA.
