    Don Kates' new blog

    All,

Don Kates will be blogging at Calgunlaws.com - more specifically http://www.calgunlaws.com/index.php/che-talk/

I recommend you check it out as Don is practically the grandfather of the gun rights movement. And his stories about his parrot aren't bad either.

Here is the press release Chuck Michel put out last week (delayed getting to me due to technical difficulties):

CalGunLaws.com, an online legal reference source website for information on federal and California firearm regulations, is pleased to announce that Professor, Second Amendment scholar, and civil rights attorney Don B. Kates has moved his blog to www.CalGunLaws.comwww.CalGunLaws.com, register, and subscribe to the blog alerts system so you can be notified when a new Kates article is posted.

Thanks, Gene. It's always nice to have more information about how the RKBA fight is going.

Speaking of which, you guys should write a book or something one of these days, detailing all the behind the scenes wrangling that went into OLL, NERF, etc. I'll be first in line to buy that one.

      done!
False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

Yes, I really think that gum shows should be banned.
